The rooms are spacious and the bed very comfortable. We were delighted with the underfloor heating as we arrived on a very cold and rainy afternoon. The facilities include beautiful gardens and ponds. The gym library and pool area could do with a bit of maintenance. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast, which we enjoyed in front of a big log fire was five star quality.
